Portland PRP is run by 2 doctors currently practicing at FoRM Health, Dr. Ryan Minarik and Dr. Kai Herman.  Both doctors utilize multiple tools and approaches to treat chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions.  As experts in holistic healthcare, both have a special interest, appreciation and understanding of therapies aimed at maximizing health and recovery while minimizing risks and adverse side effects.  PRP is unique as a truly natural therapy used to help encourage and augment the body’s own healing mechanisms.  This non-surgical, minimally invasive technique provides a powerful method to treat conditions when only drugs can offer palliation, or surgery is not a solid option.  PRP can be highly effective, and safe, in its healing capabilities.

It has been a relatively simple transition to offer services in the completely separate realm of medical aesthetics.  Dr Herman has been able to expand the application of PRP to hair restoration and facial rejuvenation services.  PRP in this realm is a slightly newer procedure compared to its applications in orthopedics and dentistry, but its initial success and excellent safety profile offer an exciting new approach in medical aesthetics. As a source of concentrated growth factors derived from the person’s own blood, the PRP can stimulate hair follicle growth, collagen regeneration, and skin repair.
